Q: I have filed a chapter 13 a year ago. 4 years left until it is discharged. I have considerable income (8,500.00/month) and no debt except the Chapter 13. I have found people willing to do an owner finance for a manufactured home, yet I can’t qualify to rent the lot in a mobile home park. What am I supposed to do?

A: I’m very surprised to hear you are experiencing difficulty renting with a bankruptcy that is 13 years old!
You could qualify for a loan to buy a house at this point.
